Spacers in front and blocks on rear but thats what it had on it when I bought it. Plan on installing billies and new coils on the front and billies and AAL on the rear in the future.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I'm thinking 886 coils up front (I have added weight) but the rear Dakar setup scares me and am torn on the idea of the AAL. I have no shell and with the stock setup, I'm sitting at nearly 3" of rake.

I just put on Dakar leaf springs with the 3rd leaf removed...gave me 2" of lift over the stock non-tsb 2+1 packs. Could remove an overload to bring the back down more as well.

^ Thanks for the feedback. Been reading the Dakar threads and that seems like a good option. I'd keep the overloads since I use the truck for household duties and load the back and having that extra capacity would be nice.

Just took pic today. I have stock size tires. I have 884 coils with 5100's all around. Truck is pretty much level. I'm back and forth on raising it higher. I like how it looks for now.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I intend to add more weight to the front (skids) and rock rails when the budget allows. That may bring the front down a bit, but so far I'm pleased with the way it turned out. This is the third time I have used OME. I still have my 2007 FJCruiser I modded with OME. Before that I had a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II I also modded with an OME suspension.

I am happy with the full Dakars on the Tacoma. Some folks have complained about squeeking from the leafs... I thought this was normal. I had a 2000 Ford F-250 Superduty Powerstroke with leafs at all 4 corners, normally you couldn't hear anything over the clatter of the Diesel engine, but occasionally the squeeking of the leafs would sneak through.

I have the weight, so I'm looking at compensating at this point with the 886. I have a buddy who has several Land Cruisers and they all are on OME suspensions.

As for the Dakar squeak - my stock leafs squeak all the time. I lubed them a month ago and today they were back at it. Oh dang, they squeak. If you use your truck for non-asphalt duties, they're going to squeak. Live with it. I want a little more level than my current rake, just scared without the rear weight that the Dakars will be too high. But it was pointed out, take out #3 leaf and it comes down a bit.

Always weighing options. Always enjoying seeing something that you like and saying so.

Thanks everyone who has posted in this thread. Just looked through all 19 pages, it was incredibly helpful. I have no desire to go 285s anymore. With the right lift, and an aggressive looking tire, I'll have the stance/look I want.

How/what do you have the winch mounted with? I see it's sort of a hidden mount. I have a brand new warn in my garage that I was trying to sell but no takers so might just mount it instead

Check this out. Will give you a bit of a ballpark of how they will compare.
Each manufacturer will have slight differences though.

I've never heard of 270s! Thought it jumped from 2650 to 275
