Umm, it can get annoying especially when driving hilly areas where it downshifts frequently.

A real dyno test would definetely help out a bunch of us TW members who are on the fence about this product.

Just a warning, with a normally aspirated at altitude, an intake will have less gain (if any) because with 20% less oxygen you already have an advantage in that your intake is less restrictive since it can't pull in more air that isn't there.

Your dyno runs won't suck much air either way.

You may be right but you are also wrong, there is the same amount of oxygen at sea level as there is on Mount Everest it's the the partial pressure effecting airflow, in laymen's terms the 02 molecules are more spaced out reducing the oxygen intake......science.... also what do you mean there is 20% percent less oxygen. When there is only 21 percent o2 on the earth ??

Well at least I am going to give it a shot and see. I am sure there is some BS equation to figure out high altitude to sea level HP / Trq increase.

    I see an estimated
Could it look any more badass ! Nice !
I absolutely love that color. The whole truck is so easy on the eyes.
i want larger tires but don't want to sacrifice the tow capability. It hurts !

Why would larger tires hurt tow capacity?

There is 20% less atmosphere at mile high plus elevation vs sea level, oxygen included. You are trying too hard to make a pointless point.

There are equations that estimate what the hp and torque would be at different altitudes, or barometric pressures. What there isn't is a calculation to estimate gains made by changing the intake high altitude vs sea level. Especially if the gain is zero or small.

Anyone feel like your low end power suffered?

Not on mine, the manual v6 use to dive in first gear at low rpms, from a stop you would floor it and the truck would start to move then a huge hesitation. The intake drastically changed the low rpm dive.

I feel like when I get on mine a little from a stop, it will surge, fall on it's face, surge again, fall flat, then surge and keep pulling. It feels like some seriously dead spots in the power band. Anyone experience this and if so, did the intake help this issue?

Sounds like a serious issue unrelated to intake.
