Inferno Thread

It's an endless battle!

 

lol, nah my second gen has been long gone and I now have a 16 Inferno. It's just something about the homes and yards that whenever I see a pic, it usually sticks out like a sore thumb. Born and raised on the Island until I moved South 8 years ago for better weather and a cheaper cost of living. Still trying to get my brother to move off the Island and head this way, I've almost broken him.

 

Oh if i could leave tomorrow i would. I have family in N Carolina on both of my parents sides. I cant wait to retire.

 

ordered my inferno 2017 trd sport double cab today. got lucky and there was one being built exactly how i wanted it. should be 3-4 weeks for delivery. very excited!

 

Got her "first" wax today at 2400 miles. Remember I bought it at 2100 miles. No way was this truck ever waxed. I fought it for two hours. Dealers and "$200 washed and waxed upon delivery" my ass.

 

Born and lived in Mineola until 1988, moved to Portland Oregon and now Boise Idaho. Went back once in 2001 for a day... That was enough for the rest of my life.

Sister and dad are still stuck there and they seem to love it but they also don't know any better.

 

As soon as you can... life is much better almost anywhere else, except maybe California!

 

Oh i know, id rather stay here than live in california. When my little one gets a little older were going to start vacationing in some potential retirement states.

 

My dad is from Mineola. Was a Mustang! And granddad was with the FD

 

I never thought I'd be a Californian yet here I am and so far I'm digging it. Yosemite is my back yard. The coast is just a few hours. Outdoor Mecca here, and I like it!

Updated picture of the truck. Even though Kentucky seems to be the rain capital of the world lately, I snapped a decent picture before the storm...
I added the Pro Sema wheels, 275/70 KO2s and the OME 888 coils.

 

that looks super nice....Im debating if I want to get those Pro Sema wheels or if I should get the Trail edition 4runner wheels.

No kidding! Wow, small world. My Mom ran the library in the 80's.

 

Only problem I have with California is that I am a retired air line pilot and FAA certified flight instructor with permits to concealed carry in 38 states, yet if my disassembled unloaded gun is in locked storage compartment in my car, it's a FELONY in California. There's just something really wrong about that. Same thing with NY, and it's one of the main reasons I left as soon as I could. Idaho is about the most law abiding gun owner friendly state I could find.

 

Does it not seem a little ridiculous to you the laws can vary so much from state to state?

 

Well according to the Supreme Court, same sex marriage is legal in some states and so by their interpretation of the 14th Amendment, it must be legal in all states and so they made it so it is.

Personally I fully support the rights of gay married couples to defend their marijuana crops with guns. Though I'm not so sure many of them support my law abiding citizen right to have a gun.

It's a pretty messed up country, no doubt about that. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets any better... But so far we still have Rights in 38 or so of the states, so that's better than one law to restrict and subjugate everyone equally the same.

I love my Inferno truck, but I keep 10 spray cans of flat Khaki paint around just in case...

 

Boy do I love that about living here in Idaho. You hear tons of people say that if a state passes law so anyone can open carry that people will just go nuts with it. I've not seen anything like that here.

 

You know we are going to have to have the lift and tire specs haha. Its a awesome truck man!
