No codes, no slipping, it's only from a stop and only in 1st gear. Seems worse when the engine is still cool, not warmed up completely. I honestly really started to notice it after the transmission TSB was performed. I may disconnect the battery and allow the computer to relearn from scratch. I'm not sure the dealer initiated the transmission learn procedure when they did the flash and I still haven't even reached 2k miles on my truck since taking ownership in May.

God not this discussion again, happens on every forum. You can provide proven gains on a dyno and people still say they do nothing, just don't buy it and shut up.

Better off, no loss. Not sure why I even bothered to comment on his worthless posts.

So statistically no real difference, with a few minor changes and a little something more above 6400 rpm. A little less between 2000-26000. Hardly something that will help someone that says their engine falls flat a couple of time before getting anywhere near 6400 rpm.

But who is SIKKY, this is about a AFE intake.

@worthywads This isn't just about AFE. There are people in here with K&N and I'm sure there will be other CAIs discussed in this thread as they came out. Read the title

So the dyno evidence is no gains.

I will say, unless you're able to flash the ECU with new maps you'll probably notice negligible gains from an intake. My limited time in the Subie world has really opened up a slew of information regarding tuning an engine and the mod's associated with it. FWIW, Toyota has a really "numb" fuel map for these engines and it's probably to meet EPA standards as well as maintain engine performance and reliability. Any intake and exhaust combination without a tune is probably going to result in minimal performance gains albeit the perceivable perception one might have on it.

Not gonna lie, I bought it because I like the noise it makes. Honestly, these trucks have like 278 HP. If it jumps up to 280 HP with the intake, who gives a damn? People trying to rain on everyone's parade here gets pretty annoying when I want to see install pics and videos
