Do y'all know when the 'winter' gas was delivered in the area? Since I PCS'd here (late sept/early oct) I have been averaging lower than average gas mileage (around 16-17, down from about 19). Not sure if it is the 'winter' gas mix that I have read about or if I need to look into something else.

Also, any locals up to give me a hand with timing belt/water pump change? Again, I'll feed ya!

    Thanks y'all!

Not really. I rarely use the 4x4 up here. They plow EVERYTHING here. First place that I have been that they plow the neighborhoods. Kind of a let down really. I want to play in it a bit.

I just filled up on Saturday and my mileage was 15.2 (OUCH!) My 2000 V6 4x4 was consistently 19-20, this truck (2001 same same) was around 18 ish down south and 16-17 here now 15. I think "IT" is here now, by the latest fill up readings I received. Looks like I'll be driving the wife's Civic a lot more now.

I think winter gas has been out here since around nov. I don't really track my mileage on my truck, but noticed a couple mpg loss on my integra.

As for the timing belt/water pump, let me know a date ahead of time and I am willing to lend a hand. I haven't done anything like that on the truck before, but with the help of a friend I was able to do it on my integra.
