My Toyota trifold always leaked. I found it like this more than once.

    My solution was this.

I have the OEM unit (ordered it with my truck) and I'm happy with it for the most part. My biggest complaint is the rubber seal (where it folds over) is already starting to show wear which make sure me question how long before the rubber actually tears/rips when I go to fold it over some more. I like the fact that it hides anything you have in the bed but have found it to be in the way when I make trips to Home Depot. It's not exactly small enough to set it aside when you need to utilize the full bed space.

can you still use the factory rails with any accessories? like the cargo divider? i was under the assumption some covers block the rails or need them to be removed.

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.
I've had the cover for 12.5K miles now and love it. I've been in several drenching rains and I don't hesitate to load items back there. No issues. I've removed it a few times for larger loads and it really couldn't get much easier. I recommend it.

Since I bought my Truck through the Costco Buyer Program they gave me a $100 coupon off of any dealer item! Made it a little less expensive. The on thing is... it is Durable and easy to use. It's a little cheaper than the Dealer on Amazon.

The Factory Tonneau can be used in conjunction with the rail cleats and Cargo Divider. The only thing is that in one spot there are two parts that hang down into the bed so the rear most cleats cannot be in that one 1" Spot or it wont close. Easy to move.

Factory cover has been great, works well and no issues with water. Haven't needed to remove it completely yet but it's pretty easy to do. If I didnt have the factory cover I would go with Bakflip. Had one on my Raptor and worked really well

I couldn't justify the $1500 it costs for the OEM cover here in Canada.

The $525 Extang Trifecta (not including the $50 rebate) I bought is suiting my needs just fine.

Removal is easy enough for one-person. It's bulky (70lbs, as mentioned earlier, doesn't sound too far off), but an adult male shouldn't have trouble. When reinstalling it, it's helpful to have a second person, but I've done it solo.

Removal is simple. There's a 12mm bolt next to the passenger side rear window that you remove, then it's the three latches on the driver side you pull on.

Mine leaks more than I thought it would.
Not too impressed with it, someday I'll look and see if I can adjust how it snugs to the bed....

I didn't like how it looked at first. But after a month, I love it now and am glad I kept it. I do worry that the black will turn to grey over time.IMG_6549.jpg

Mine was always a little loose near the tailgate section, until I found out it clicked twice. Press down firmly at the 2 end corners near the tailgate. You will hear the first initial click when putting the cover down, but when you press down on it you will hear a 2nd click. Mine is really snug now and doesn't wiggle or leak anymore. Give it a try.

I removed the cover once to load furniture that required the full 5' bed space and it was really easy. There is a bolt under the plug cap towards the front passenger side. Once thats removed you can lift the whole thing up for removal. Its a little heavy but for the durability I don't mind it at all.

The OEM Tonneau cover is pretty much bragging rights to me since you gotta actually order it when u build your truck and cant acquire it through a dealership.....my truck actually came with it and i love it. A lot of people complain about it but i absolutely love mine. looks rugged and durable and a cool TACOMA logo at the end/front ;)

I had them remove mine on allocation because I don't want something I have to constantly take in and out every time I use the front of my bed. I know I would have just taken it off and it would have sat on the side of my house (like my bed extender does)

I like it a lot even though I don't have it on my truck. So dumb that the cover can't be ordered through dealership esp. when you can order all the nuts, brackets, screws to install it. ;-(

what formula for 303, I see several. Or do I just go for the tonneau cover formula?
