It's a 16 and was about 36k OTD. I don't know if was the best deal but it's loaded with all the stuff. They also gave me almost what I paid for the other truck too, which was pretty good

The 2.7 is rated at 3500lbs so you only got anther 500lbs of towing ? That's not much of a upgrade.

Key word is "rated" does not mean it will pull very well at that weight...

Great looking truck. I have MGM and love it. Water spots easily, but not that big of a deal considering how great they look. I'm also a fan of the access cab...but I have kids and need the 4-door.

Do you need to know, or care?
This is true. Sure the V6 is rated to pull 6500lbs, but that is way too much to put behind, IMO. 20mph up hills at 6000rpm is way too taxing on the motor. It'll pull it, but at what long term cost?

In my area we have some really steep grades, I would never put more than 4500lbs behind mine. If I lived somewhere flat, maybe go up a 1000, but not here.

How did the trade work out paying taxes and fees twice? Curious too see if they helped you out with those costs at all.

I'm sorry not sure if I ever answered your question. Bought SR5 in April for 25,659.00'. Dealer bought it for 25k and I added 11 for the TRD. Not too bad I don't think

Ya I know that tax, fee shit is a pain. They basically gave me what I bought the first one for, about 1000 off MRSP, threw in all weather mats, and predictor side steps and they let me keep the new weathertech mats I just got.
