Today, I single-handedly and single-beeredly replaced my leaf springs and water pump.

I finally swapped my old, dumpy, 2+1 oem leaf springs with a set of 3+1 oem's w/ Icon 1.5" AAL from @Noahs2015Taco.

Installed with All-Pro flip kit and superbumps.

So much improvement on how it rides now.

Managed to make a mess changing out the water pump.

And gave myself a nice souvenir.

Also, yesterday I replaced the 3rd brake light on my shell, and a while back I completely debadged. Now it's bedtime, I'm exhausted.

Put in some small red LEDs above the console and in the foot wells. Going to put a sleeve around the top ones and recess them a little more so you don't see the bulb unless your directly below it

Finally picked the truck up last night after three weeks without it. Ended up with $7300 in damage. Overall it turned out okay, but there are a few things I am going to make the body shop fix. First they put the old style headlights with the melty dtrl problem in it. I have provided them the new part numbers and they will be ordering the correct ones Monday. The other thing is they painted the drivers side front flare along with both flare pieces on the bottom of the bumper cover...the problem is they are as glossy as the body panels and do not match the matte finish of the other three flares. I don't know if I am just too picky, but to me the saying, "it will never be the same." Is definitely ringing true. Its almost like if your wife cheats on you, you forever will picture her with the other man. Anyway, Here she is in her post wounding glory...

Now to decide if I am going to keep it or cut my loses and trade it in on something else.

What is causing the uneven wear on your tires? Do you have a lift?

Bad alignment and seized adjustment tabs. Have the new cam tabs sitting on the shelf in the garage, just waiting for my Whiteline bushings to get here. Once they do my lca's will be getting an overhaul and the alignment will get fixed. Then my winter tires with go on while I save for new duratracs next spring, that is if I still have the truck. But either way, the LCA and aligment issue has to be fixed.

Oh, and yes, I have a lift. 5100's set at 1.75" (will be changed to 2.5") when the LCA's come out and Toytec AAL in the rear with the recall leaf packs.

Left the house very early this am (4:00) in search of some cold mountain streams for some late summer flyfishing. Made my way towards the headwaters. Exercised the DAC for the first time this year on some mountain forest roads. It's steeper than it appears. The last time I used it my buddy was like "WTF is wrong with your truck...it sounds like it's falling apart". I had to convince him the noises were normal.

Decided to finally do the rear diff breather relocate today as well. Went up behind the drivers side tail light.

Also finally got a matching wheel and tire for my spare. It is a 265/70/17 Duratrac and fits nicely under the bed.
    image.jpg

The original spare that I removed had some nice grooves from being pressed against the frame for 3 years.

Busy day today. Started with an oil change, and installed a Fumoto valve for next time. Sticks down pretty far, but the skids cover it with room to spare.

    20160820_100143.jpg 20160820_104905.jpg

Speaking of skids, I added some aluminum RCI lower control arm skids.

    20160820_112329.jpg

And finally I installed some Apex Fabworks LED fog light mounts with 18W amber lights. Can't wait for it to get dark so I try them out!

    20160820_133733(0).jpg 20160820_133750.jpg

Tomorrow...Tech Deck Xtreme Duty and some RAM mounts.

That actually wouldn't look too bad if they respray all the flares the same gloss color. I like the glossy
