Hmmmm. I like that behind the brake light like that. I may follow in your footsteps and relocate it to that spot tomorrow. I feel like I could have ran the line a little better so I'll probably get under there and redo it.

Also, it's nice to know that a duratrac fits up under there. :)

Well, Got back from Nevada and my package had arrived. So I installed my Pro grille. Before and after pictures. I like my Homer grille but the Pro ain't bad either.

I can't take credit for the idea. I saw it here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rear-diff-vent-behind-the-tail-light-mod.286097/

If you go with a bigger spare under the bed, you will have to hammer in the steel tabs that hold the stock spare in place, but after that you are set. With the 265/70/17 Duratrac I still had 3/4 of an inch of space from the exhaust. If you decide to go with 33s, I bet the exhaust will have to be chopped

I have 265/75/16 Duratracs right now. I think that's the same Diameter as your 17's?

I did the same 1st time I dropped the spare ... 5 minutes with a 5 pound hammer ... did the trick.

Next time I have a couple hundred bucks to burn I think I'll throw a duratrac on the steel spare wheel! I hate having the smaller stock tire as a spare now since I put the Duratracs on.

Yea, me too. I waited over a year to get the matching spare. I had a valve stem issue that caused a flat, which convinced me to finally bite the bullet and spend the money. It's as the old saying goes, it's better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it

My thoughts exactly. Same reason I carry a gun everyday. Just like having the correct size spare tire. Hahahahah
