And I'm sure those sleazy salesmen never thought to slap a TRD sticker on there and possibility pull one over on someone. I bought a CPO from a Toyota dealer with a Carfax and I still climbed under and checked to make sure there was a locker there.

It can happen with the 80 series Cruisers, too. An unscrupulous seller installing the FR/RR locker dash dial on an FZJ80 that doesn't actually have diff lockers. You can see the locker actuator on the housing so it takes about 10 seconds to figure out a fake, if you know to look.

There was also a time early on in the 1st gen Taco production that you could order a locker without TRD, which is really what most people want anyway. That would be the unicorn, a 4 cylinder, 5 speed XtraCab with manual hubs and an e-locker. It can exist. Although it would be in two pieces now because of frame rot, but that's a different problem.

Well, I have decided to wait for a bit.. not too long.. maybe a month and then decide. There's pros and cons, like everything.

I pulled mine this week and couldn't be happier.

If it were more understated like on my 2013 I would have left it but the bright red did nothing for me.

    The 3M wheel really helped.

Just recently picked up my '17 OR and had the truck for ~3 hours before it was all de-badged. Like others have said, would rather do it now before the sun hits the paint and risk possibility of different shades of paint. Did the same with my '13 OR. However I sat on the possibility for a week or so before hand.

I will ask the opposite any reason to move them. I kind of like the stickers look just like it came from the factory.

I kept mine because I don't see many TX TRD Tacomas here in Kansas City.

Am I the only one who likes my TRD sticker?

I also replaced my WeatherTech badges with TRD badges. Figured it made them look more like factory...and I hated the WeatherTech badges.

Anybody got a pic of some flat black TRD decals on a black truck? I'm going this route. If not I'll post when mine come in.

Nope. I thought the factory stickers were ok. But I wanted it to pop a little more.

I didn't hate the stickers, but they were mounted too high for the Snugtop. Stickers came off in 30 seconds - no tools or chemicals needed.

No. Follow the link under the picture. Not sure if he's still having sets made, but that's where I got them.
