I got the Pro from the Duke of Deals seller: penske on eBay. He quit selling for the price I got it for thou. Which was 350. Great seller by the way. The HomerTaco I got the mesh from HomerTaco for 235+ shipping then I cut up my grille to install it

It is definitely going back to the shop first thing Monday. Was sitting in the parking lot at Target tonight while my wife ran in to do some quick shopping. The ac line (I suspect) ruptured somewhere in the engine bay and began spewing what I initially believed to be smoke from under the hood and in through the vents. I originally thought it was on fire, so I quickly shut it off, bailed out to grab my son out of the back seat. (I kinda wish it would have been a fire so I could just be rid of all the problems that come with a half assed repaired vehicle). Anyway, long story short I now have no ac and the shop will be keeping it until they fix the laundry list of crap that I have now found they did wrong while looking it over closely throughout the day today.

Try putting your spare on and driving with it. When I had a smaller spare, it made my ABS come on due to the different rotation speeds

 

You don't want to drive with one tire being smaller than the others. This can do damage to the tranny due to tire speed and angle. Actually, if you have to use a smaller tire, you have to make sure its on the front of the truck and that 4wd is not engaged.

I have a stupid question. Engine coolant... Mine is low. No signs of leaking or anything like that. Supposed to be like that? Doesn't the radiator keep some in there at all times, therefore not really being "low"?

And I've noticed a weird rattle at low speed/low rpms when I step on the gas... Can't figure out what/where/why but it's bothering the fuck outta me.

 

Your radiator should always have antifreeze in it, unless you have a leak in it somewhere. It depends on what you call low. When your engine is hot and you shut it off the overflow is suppose to go into the overflow tank (reservoir). If your radiator is low, as your engine gets hot it draws in antifreeze from the overflow tank. While your engine is cold, usually before your first start up take your radiator cap off and check the level and add more antifreeze if needed and top off your overflow tank while your at it.

 

Check the weep hole on your water pump. It's made to drip if some junk gets behind a shaft seal. It shouldn't drip a lot, but outside if an actual leak that's where I would start.

 

As far as the pinging goes if it's not from overheating you might need the dealer to flash the ECM. It cleared mine up. Don't let them charge you.

I've got a 33in MTR for a spare in there and I still have a 1/4 in of space left over.

 

Nice. Have you noticed any issues with the tire from the exhaust heat? The shield is pretty short

 

I've checked it a few times since I put it on, its all good.

 

Turned on my truck and CD player decided to eject all 6 CDs. Then the screen is blank. I have sound and it seems like the buttons are working. But WTF?!

 

Maybe it doesn't like your taste in music

 

Sorry, should have been more specific about it being low. It's the tank that's at a low level.

 

Yea I know, I want wheels, suspension, ect.

My wife's Rav 4 does this also, every oil change I have to add some. I don't worry about it much.

 

Even though the tank is low you can still have a small leak in the radiator, the water pump, or the tank its self. Check around the clamps for all of the hoses on the radiator, the tank, and heater hoses. You might have to have the sysem pressure tested to find it.
