    Had to do some work this morning, so I figured I'd spend the afternoon installing my Bilstein 5100s, AAL, and OME 885's. Wrong. I was following the "change springs without a spring compressor" methodology, but could not for the life of me get the front nuts on the LCAs loose. Not even with a breaker bar. Would not even think about budging. I've installed lifts on Jeeps, 2nd Gen Rams, Subarus, and full size Chevys. I've lowered Volkswagens, 3rd Gen Rams, and Fiats. In the thirty plus years I've been wrenching on cars, I've never come across a suspension component this locked up. No rust or anything. Just completely jammed up.

    Nope. Just the flared nut. The ones in the back on both sides loosened with no problem. The front ones though...

    Speaking of cams, I don't know who did the last alignment (I noticed it looks like a little positive camber), but NONE of the marks on the cams are anywhere near the alignment notches. Dead middle of the hash index marks on the cams is pointing straight up.

    Freaking bizarre.

    Getting bored. Anyone wanna do a 63" chevy swap. Cam tab gussets? Bamf shock relocation kit? need some side money for retros hahaha. But seriously i can make it happen

    do you add a bead? or use an actual kit? and how much? for the cam tab gusset. mine are flattened so they said I can't get properly aligned, but 2 of 3 things are in spec, and i forgot which one was the last one and they said shouldn't affect tire wear?

    Get the TC cam tab gusset kit. Think I ordered mine from wheelers off road. Had Tim weld them on. After that I haven't had any alignment problems. Before the gussets it wouldn't hold an alignment for more than a couple miles.

    Well it only took 6 months to get these installed due to conflicting schedules, but I finally managed to get @k9cop sliders welded on!
