I am at the shop putting on the KO2s. Parking next to a Ridgeline. I think I hate it. Call me fanboy, Koolaided, I'm a totally sold on the Tacoma. Not a bit of regret bought the truck.

To me. it looks like somebody took a sawzall to the back of a Honda Odyssey. Prob a good option for some domestic partner that occasionally needs to haul a lawn chair or plant from Lowes, uses it for commuting, and locks it in 4wd while off-roading that dirt path to their cabin. Just my politically correct opinion in case anyone here wants to report me to TW HR.

Different vehical for different purposes. It's basically a minivan with the back part of the roof shaved off :) Doesn't suite my taste either.

Ridgeline is beyond ugly. Saw one today, you couldn't pay me to drive one of those.

Btw, why is this thread in the 3 Gen Marketplace?

It's a Honda Accord that mated with an Elcamino. Thing is disgusting.

I'll agree with most of the post in this thread. However, it would/will do what "most" on this forum require a "truck" to do. I'll wager they (Honda) has way fewer recalls than Toyota.

Maybe he's selling his opinion on the Ridgeline? Since I already have the same opinion as he does, I'll have to pass on this deal!

it's even less truck than the previous Ridgeline. More like a Subie baja. Sad

Last I saw, people couldn't get them off the dealer lot without the power windows failing. The tailgates were also breaking 1 month out.

Every new vehicle seems to have its issues, all you can do is hope they aren't major....

Don't knock the Baja! It's basically a 2nd gen Outback with the back cut off. That platform is tough as nails. Plus it's a longitudinally mounted engine and an AWD system that beats out just about any competitor.

I saw one of these out in the wild the other day and it does look like an Odyssey with the rear end cut off. However, it was a bigger overall vehicle than I was expecting it to be.

I think it's ugly and for some reason I can't explain, I don't think of Honda as a truck manufacturer. I have a Civic and it's been great. They make fine vehicles that run forever, get good gas mileage and are affordable. I just don't think of them as making trucks (even though they clearly do).

I don't like the looks of it at all, but the cooler in the tailgate is intriguing, if not more than a little gimmicky.

The Ridgeline definitely reminds me of the Baja, but I'm not saying the Baja is inadequate or anything. I personally think the Baja is ugly, though.
