Perfectly normal, if you're all fucked up on liquor and or drugs. Otherwise, I'd recommend seeing a doctor.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
...^^^... if I had the problems that Smitty has had ... I would go for the lemon law if at all possible ... and if my truck let me down like his truck.

From my experiences, having maybe 10 Toyota trucks and several Toyota SUVs and cars ... I have never had a really bad experience like I had with -- Ford, GM & VW. Had some bad issues with Toyota ... but Toyota fixed them and made me happy.

I do think that Toyota has "split quality Q/C" now within the Toyota brand.(much more than before). IMO, a good example of different Q/C standards is the Sequoia & the Land Cruiser (while different, they are not "double the price different"). These are 2 vehicles to study on Toyota's Q/C control. Its not called "Q/C Differences", they have another name for it. Google it and you may find something on the vehicle manufacturing trade sites.

Toyota has 2 Q/C standards in our face --- Lexus and Toyota brands are very different in Q/C standards & dealer service, even for the same basic type of SUV ... IIRC, a good example that we know is the new oil filter cover is plastic on Toyota and metal on Lexus.

Service departments are very different too and Toyota does this under the premium vehicle difference. Some of this happens internally inside the Toyota brand too ... i.e. the best Toyota service dealership can maybe beat the bottom Lexus dealership. Trying to make a point of varying Q/C differences with a specific brand and that Q/C is always changing, even in the same brand.

I had a 2010 silver Tacoma when I made my account. And moved to the 3rd gen side of things and got a red 2016. Glad you can point out obvious differences in things. Very good job.

    You don't say?!
Well if I cared what people on the internet thought about when my avatar and username don't match up then I would go out of my way and have it changed. But internet people's opinion on small shit like that doesn't concern me.

Good to know I'm not the only one who can't stay away from reading and posting on 3rd gen threads. You folks have kept this thread alive...

....which confirms that one of the cool things about TW is people speak their mind.

@smitty99 People are too thin skinned. Sure, smitty posts a lot, but he always has something of merit to say. I come here for the truth about my truck, not some watered down, sun-is-shining outlook. Bunch a nancies...

Did you try to change you-re medicine? or tinkle with the dose? Or better yet get off it for good, get to the rehab as everyone suggested.
