Had my truck only a week, and started to do easy and cheap stuff for now. First thing was to secure my tailgate similar to this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/taco-tailgate-theft-deterance.16732/

But I added my own idea, which was to change the orientation of the tightening screw, so that it can only be undone from underneath the truck. Kind of a pain in the butt to install, but that's the point right? Less than $3 will hopefully save me the price of a new tailgate :) thanks Tacomaworld!

Mine did that last year and had a rock in the shield on the converter. Only heard it at low rpms.Def check that. Very simple fix.

Just got done detailing her after a 1300 mile week long round trip up to Monterey California for Car Week (No, not my wife. Get your minds out of the gutter). Had many bugs to clean off and how is it that they find every nook and cranny imaginable to slam into? But the best part of my trip was finding a bunch of exotic car enthusiast looking at my rims and one even asking me if that was real carbon fiber on my rims. Really and you own a car that is probably worth more than my house? Sorry, but I had to share some of the cars I was surround with at my hotel!

Tech Deck Extreme-Duty installed today. Unfortunately, a bolt was missing from the hardware bag, so its just installed general-duty style for now. I sent Tom and email, and I's sure he'll hook me up with the missing bolt soon. Put a RAM mount on it for my phone. Also going to hang an S-Pod touch screen and maybe an Ultraguage on it eventually. East to install and solid as-is, but I want the extra two bolts from the extreme-duty brace before then.

Relocated the tow harness. Right now it's being held in by the plate light screw, but I'm not happy with how it sits, so I'll be drilling holes into the bumper for the harness' mounts later on.

A little bit of this and that. Swap in 4.56 arb. Had to bleed and bleed and still need to bleed brakes some more.... Will install compressor later this week. Have to break in the gears anyway.

Oh and wrapping headers on lsx :)

Haven't been driving after dark since I put them in, but there's lots of pics if you search for Apex. I can say that based on the light pattern on the wall in the garage that they point just below and to the outside of my headlights, which is what I was after. PM me if you don’t see any good pics, and I'll take some when I get a chance.

Got my KC's installed, wired and tested - waiting for center console switch to arrive to complete the mod. Made my own brackets (simple "L" shape riveted to inside of front bumper brace). Low budget but highly functional. Woo hoo!
