Lift questions.

I want to get a 3-4" lift for my Tacoma. My problem is, What size tires would look good, Without burning out my clutch. BTW, My truck is a 2.7l and a 5spd.

285's would look good.

 

Ok well i just went to our local off road shop. $2811 for 3" lift, KM2 tires and 17" black wheels. Is that alot?

 

Looks like they'll charge ya around 4-5 hundred dollars for labor...your call

$2811 was out the door. Now just the lift was $699 installed. I was thinking about getting my wheels off Ebay. Maybe some American racing Chamber (black) and Hankook M/T in 285's

 

what kind of lift. is it a spacer lift?

 

$2811 sounds like a lot of money. Got my truck lifted and front end aligned for $495. Wheels and tires were $1416 at America's Tire.



Mine are 265's, so they're probably a little less expensive than 285's. 285's would look great if you can get them to fit without rubbing. But, with 4 banger power you might end up wanting to re-gear your truck when you're done. The 265's made a noticable difference for me.

 

All depends on what kind of lift they quoted you on

 

i dont have pic yet but i will soon i have a 2'' leveling lift up front and a aal in the back looks real good
