Oh i know there is already a huge market for things like this. It's a pretty cost efficient mod and as others have mentioned is very easy to build yourself. Anyone is welcome to diy if you're even a little crafty. It's not hard at all. I just know the amount of time i spent researching pumps, flow rates, psi settings, taking into account mounting options and versatility, inlet size of pump, types of tubing options and all the connections needed all added up across several weeks. Id gladly spend 20 bucks more to have a kit shipped ready to go lol. The pump i use is not a $25 ebay pump that can supposedly "run dry" and "self prime". It's from Flojet, the same company that makes soda machine jets and other large industrs items. Theseare found in RVs and even used as bilge pumps. They arent cheap pumps. The fittings are quality brass fittings, not the ones from harbor freight thatll leak. Anyone can still do it themselves and that's awesome more power to you. I wont really be making anything off these by the time they are packaged and shipped it'll hardly cover my time. This isn't a business for me, just a way i can contribute and share knowledge and cool mods with my fellow adventurists :)
A cheap kit can be made for under $60 or so to be honest. How long it last is another question and for the budget people id recommend going that route. This is simply for those who like the idea and want something reliable for when you're of the grid and don't need commodities to fail you and for those who don't have hours to do the research ove again

I'm in for one Anthony. For those who don't know, this guy does clean quality work. He installed my dual battery setup, and it looks puss.

Check it out guys, i know im new to this thread but I'm not new to TW at all. Ive seen many many dirtbags come and go over the years (yes, years) who just try to make money off us and provide some garbage product and then bail. Before the negativity and bashing starts, because its bound to happen on TW, im just gonne let you all know that im sharing this water idea simply as a way to share knowledge and help others with a similar pashin. I do ALOT of camping and off grid adventures and ive purchased so many products that seemed like a cool idea but then just proved to be a hassel and not practical. So i spent dozens of hours across several weeks to come up with an idea that would do exactly what i needed and i put it through real work testing. It is one of the best mods i have done and works amazingly! It is easy and not that pricey. Anyone is welcome to build it themselves and save a few bucks hey there is no butthurt from me at. It's probably what id do lol. I just don't need anyone thinking in here to rip you all off. You can make it yourself for cheaper im not gonna lie. This isnt my business and its not a source of income. I built my first kit for under $100. The secons kit with more reliable parts for about $150. That doesnt include wiring, hose clamps, and misc parts that add up because i had all that stuff already. A kit with a premade wire harness and fuse, precut hoses and all the right connections, to me thats worth almost 200 bucks knowing how amazing this thing is. After the cost of building wiring harness, supplying all parts needed, buying packing material and shipping, id be making a few bucks a unit lol. So lets not start a bash party here k. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and your welcome to share other products and your own ideas thats totally cool and thats what we have a forum for. So cheers to Saturday night im headed out with the lady and hope everyone enjoys their weekends! :) and if you are still interested in what i have to offer, ill catch up and answer questions tomorrow

I have a small 2.5 gal version of a similar product. I was shocked at just how hot the water got in just a few hours in the sun! The bag really is a good solution for occasional use.

    It's cool.
Sometimes people need to understand that there are some of us out here that don't care to spend the time researching, but would prefer for EVERYTHING to be complete for purchase. I don't have time for 12 trips to the hardware store.
Keep me in the loop man. Thanks

Also, if someone wants to build me on board air, I'm in for that too!:D

@ProForce Just build it man. Make a little website with a paypal linky and you will sell the shit out of them. No need for 'splainin. Once the first few prototypes make it into the wild and the positive reviews start rolling in demand will ramp up. This "expedition" thing is hot right now, there is a huge market for luxury items like this.

I'd be down for an onboard water system. I'm particularly fond of the idea of a tank in the stock spare tire location. So many possibilities for camping!

Got a Front Runner roof rack installed this week on the truck. Step one is now complete. Next will be solar on the rack and a water tube right behind it.
