    Need to have the u joints on my driveshaft replaced, and probably a new carrier bearing...any recommended shops?

    My boys are 8 and 11. Somehow they have become smarter, faster, stronger, more stinky and sticky. :notsure:

    Along the way they have developed fierce negotiating skills, too. :confused:

    yup. parts from rock auto cost me like $75 or so. definitely a smooth ride w/ the DS fixed, good alignment, and new rubber. now to bastard up a leaf pack this week.

    thx to @Daria and @JimboAnz for the teamwork on that pack ending up at adam's :D

    Nice. What issues were u having with your driveshaft?

    I have loud squeaking from standstill up to about 15-20mph. Only makes that noise when accelerating. Had my wife drive it around the yard, sounds like the noise is coming from the driveshaft right in front of the rear diff.

    a little play in the CB, u-joints were shitting grease and a general vibration in the truck while at any speed.

    The ones that are actually made to fit are the Ironman 4x4 ones that you can get from Metal Tech. I didn't buy one since I've got a camper shell but it's a good idea for your application.
