Don't know yet, it's sitting at the dealer waiting patiently for me to get enough free time to grab it!

OK, so throwing my hat in the vibration ring...owned 2016 DCLB OR for about a month. I have almost 1000 miles on her. I noticed early that when I hit 2000 RPM, when it is shifting at that range, there is (what I would consider) mild steering wheel vibration. so far, I dont notice any pedal shake or seats shaking, just the steering wheel. It only seems to happen if about to shift at 2000 RPM. I have felt it at 30 mph and also at 50 mph or so. I dont really drive faster than 70 very often. when I 1st noticed, I did a search and found threads like this one. Obviously, the vibration should not be there, and I will report it and open a case with Toyota. But, it sounds like others have had far worse vibration than I am experiencing so far. I did lease a 2013 DCLB SB sport for 3 years. i didnt have any vibration with that one. in hindsight, it would have been good to know about the issue before purchase--to at least try to feel for the shake during test drive. after my great experience with 2013 truck, I was confident, though, and unaware of this issue.

I am quite familiar with this "vibration" issue, but does anyone else notice that it seems greatly reduced to almost non existent in double cab long bed models, at least in my experience with three different vehicles?

If that's the case I'll just buy a DCLB and call it a day.

When this thread first started there was talk of someone using some hose clamps to secure some amount of mass at different places on the exhaust. Has anyone tried this?

Mine is pretty mild too. It just creeps up on you on long drives

I'm thinking we should start a new thread where we can post the Toyota Case Numbers
we were assigned when we registered our complaints, for the buzzing/vibration issue alone.

Customer service would have a hard time justifying their " No Similar Complaints On File" stance
when we can rattle off a bunch of case numbers.

    Just a thought

My dclb,Sport 2wd is terrible. So much so that I wince every time I know it is going to go thru that rpm range when up or down shifting.I purposely change my driving habits to avoid 2000 rpm's as much as possible,it is truly a pain in the ass.If there is no remedy am really thinking of going back to a Tundra, hate to though as my mpg is staying above 24 in mostly highway driving.

Both myself, others here and the tech @ the dealer pointed to the mounts from the start.
He said, he could swap them out but it would be pricey, outside of that, I'd have to wait for
enough complaints to have a TSB initiated and then could get it done under warranty so that's
where I'm at....Just dealing with it for now and hoping I can last until the warranty, if not,
I'll eat the loss and move on to another ride.

I haven't read all of the posts in this thread, but I thought I'd let you know my experience. I have 1000 miles on my 2016 4X4 SR5 Double Cab. After seeing some of the concerns from here on Friday, I paid close attention to driving at 70-75 at 2000-2500 RPMS and I have no vibrations whatsoever; it's as smooth as Tennessee Whiskey. I have the stock crappy Toyo tires and haven't made any modifications.

I don't think it's that I'm not feeling it, it's not there on mine. I've previously owned two 4-Runners and a Tacoma. I'd like to think I'd be aware of discomfort in my vehicle.
