I have those already, but the switch is in the cab. Thinking about adding a secondary/bypass switch at the tailgate. Would like to get some battery LED lights for the roof though.

Nice looking truck and also just browsed through your blog, very cool. I work in Everett so I liked seeing some of the local stuff

Looking through the pages I didn't see if you have done the Tundra brake swap yet. Do you know if those Konigs will clear the swapped rotors/calipers?

Yep, I've been running the 231mm Tundra calipers/rotors for a couple years now. They clear the 16" Konig Countersteers just fine!

EDIT: I actually have a set of 231mm calipers I'm looking to sell if you're interested.

That is great to hear. There is someone local to me selling some Konigs and I was thinking I might get them. I am not ready to do the brake upgrade yet.

Well shoot. This is going to be expensive.

AC compressor pulley somehow got a fair bit of play on the output shaft. Thought maybe I could get away with replacing the pulley bearing, but the damage is too severe. The bearing is actually fine, it's the mating surface between the compressor nose and the ID of the bearing.

Sorry about your compressor. I hate A/C work.

I love your build though. I think you've convinced me to go with skinny Coopers. What's the offset on your Konigs, and are you running spacers?

Thanks, Ryan! Well, I had to get a new compressor, but on a positive note, my AC blows ICE cold now so there's that.

You'll love the skinny Coopers. I'm a huge fan. I am not running spacers. The back spacing is 4.5".

I did have to *cough* persuade *cough* the pinch weld areas on the cab to clear up some slight rubbing with my previous 285s (duratracs) but have not experienced any additional rubbing/clearance issues going to the 255 ST Maxx's.

I just bought an '04 Radiant Red Xtra cab TRD 4x4 supercharged Taco back in March...I hope one day it'll look like your's. Just added some sliders and bought my lift. Beautiful truck!

Thanks for the kind words! It's definitely been a fun ride through all its iterations.

I've been following your build too. Love that super low mileage!

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm running the TRD faux beadlocks which if I'm not mistaken have 4.5 backspaceing also so now I know where I'll be with 255s and no spacers. I'm considering the bora .75 bolt on, but who knows. Yous looks great without any.

No spacers, the tires sit just inside the OEM fender flares. It looks perfect, in my opinion.

Thanks! haha, it ain't much of a build yet...but I figure with the super low mileage, time is on my side

Reading up on your AC troubles has me a little worried, my AC works but it hisses like crazy and sounds like the compressor (?) is going bad. A couple times it stopped blowing cold for a few minutes before going back to normal. Sounds like an AC overhaul may be in my near future too :(

You definitely have a long term keeper there! I'm very jealous. Bought mine with 87k on the ODO back in mid-2012 and now have ~162k. They grow up so fast!

My AC did and still does hiss -- I don't believe that to be an issue. My tip-off was a pretty decent but intermittent knock/wobble sound that I was finally able to catch red handed this last weekend. As the AC kicked off I could see a noticeable wobble in the compressor pulley. When I pulled off the clutch assembly, the snap ring that holds the pulley and bearing on the compressor nose was snapped in half. I'm not sure which happened first though: the snap ring letting go, allowing the bearing to walk on the nose a bit or if the bearing/nose interface finally became so sloppy that it took out the retaining snap ring.

At any rate, everything's buttoned up nicely now and it's driving/idling better than it ever has since I purchased it so I'm in love all over again!

Is that the 4'? I'm on the current group buy for 6-1/2' one, I'm thinking of the 4' on the back over the tailgate. Also, I bought the Yakima tracks for the rack, what tracks did you go with?
