I thought I had all the parts to do the Tundra Big Brake Upgrade on my 2003 4x4 DC Tacoma but I ran into a problem I didn't anticipate with the brake lines. I didn't realize that my Tacoma has the banjo bolt and not the flare fitting. I've searched and decided that I don't want to drill the existing bolt, so what is the next best option. What is the best option between the Wheelers SS lines or the LC engineering kit. Is it best to just use the different banjo bolt with the Wheelers kit or go for the more expensive LCE kit with the hard lines? I see that the LCE kit will work with the 13WE but will it also work with the 13WL 231mm calipers? What do y'all think??

Are there any other things I need to think about? Will the Tacoma mounting bolts work with the new 13WL calipers?
    Thanks in advance!!

Lc engineering is the best i have used! I was wheeling hard and one line came loose because i didn't secure it properly and it rubbed against the tire for 2000 miles. I could hear this grinding noise........Anyways only the plastic coating was damaged on the line. It is damn good quality and the kit fits perfect. I got my kit and had to bend the metal lines just a little to fit my 6" lift knuckles.

I just bought the 13WL Callahan kit on Ebay. I'm going with the Wheelers brake lines. Do I just order the brake lines for the 99-06 Tundra?

Thanks for responding. So if Im ordering the oem stock hard lines that come off the calipers themselves, These 95-04 TacomaWheelers brake lines will work or do I need to remove the brake lines in my stock calipers and swap them onto the new calipers? ( Sorry this is my first time doing this)

I'm not 100% sure on the hard lines... I just have the wheelers brake lines direct to my caliper.

Does anyone know if Callahan calipers gives the refund for the stock Tacoma calipers in exchange for the 13WL’s (231mm) ?

use the stock line. drill the end of the banjo bolt so the male portion fits into it. may need to file the end a little too but the stock line WILL WORK
