I did cool stuff too...just didn't really get any action shots. Hit up Poker Flat from Downieville to La Porte...never seen anything like it

I still haven't installed them. :anonymous:
They will be getting put in soon though. I have some work i want to do on the truck and that is one of the things on the list. Along with UCA bushings and lower spherical bearings on the coilovers

I'd be horrified haha. I will never understand how cars can cost over 1 mil. Up to that, I get. They are classics, one of a kind, etc.

I just don't understand how a '30s Alfa went for 18 mil. Just ridiculous. If I bought that, it would sit in a garage as a decoration, nothing else. Just doesn't seem like a functional purchase. I guess if you have money to blow though!

Here are some pics from my trip. I didn't take to many. I mostly hung out at Laguna Seca for their BMW 100 Anniversary day.

you bought a pre built 4runner meant for the desert. Im sure it cost more than a stock one?

Same applies here. reason those cars cost more, A) theres a buyer, B) they want to.

I meant that the cars they pay that for are non functional. They just sit. They run, but only to drive in and out of an auction house. Then they are towed to a garage where they sit until the next collector buys them. Also 18 million is a bit more than I paid. Close though! haha

I know. I was saying I couldn't imagine spending that much on a car.

Even if I had millions. I would want something functional. Like a yacht.

Its a whole different world of car culture for sure. Especially at the concourse alot of those cars are one of one. You'll never see another like it. Maybe the same model or what ever but It all the little tiny details that really count. And yea the people buying those kinds of cars have alot of damn money

Makes you wonder what they do for a living! haha.

My girlfriends family shows a car every now and then. It's been to the concourse once. They restored it from scratch in her dad's machine shop. Really cool.
