I slept through most of it apparently, I did however get 5 annoying calls from drunk people around 1-3am... For the first time in a long time I shut my phone off.

Whenever my friends do that to me, I return the favor and call them at 5 AM when I wake up for work just to shoot the shit with them.

That's a solid idea actually... hm..
I had a track record of being that go to guy who picked people up at night when they were drunk and lost in the city back when I was younger.
Now I just don't give a shit about people's inability to properly care of themselves after drinking......

Yep, I actually got his prototype harness and bought the mirrors and switch separately as I can get Toyota stuff at a better price. Kind of time consuming to run the wires, but I'm happy with the result. I use them a lot on cooler mornings when the mirrors fog up.

Even more than the heated mirrors, I miss the wiper deicers my Subarus had. That was a great feature!

Aren't you the one that get's those/sells those or whatever? In your sig? I have been drooling over them for a while since I have to put those useless CIPA mirrors on when I tow my snowmobile trailer. This year however I have ordered a new 7' wide inline trailer so I'm hoping I may be able to see with my stock mirrors but I doubt it. And I still want heated mirrors.

Yes I am. I have had them since they sent me the 1st set of chrome prototypes. I run the black with heat and LED turn signals now. They work very good

20160822_082325.jpg Picked this up yesterday! 1997 Honda xr400

400cc of air cooled awesomeness. Only weighs about 250. Light enough for me to lift one end at a time to move it around. Got it out with no ramp all by myself... Pain in the ass (and back).

Ordered a new lighting kit for it. Old one is shot... Other than basic cosmetic stuff, this thing is ready for action. I love converted dirt bikes. So much win!

Great choice! I'm too short for the XR, that's why I only ended up with 350cc of air cooled awesomeness (big bore to come).

So, this monster almost ruined my vacation last week. We had just come home from the grocery store, stocking up for our trip and were walking in the house when I heard a tree popping and snapping. I put the groceries down on the counter and when I went out to look there was a limb that used to overhang my deck/driveway that was now brushing the front lawn. Scrambled into action, got the truck out of the way, got my girlfriend's car out of the way and I was just about hooked up to the camper when it fell. It just grazed the back of the camper enough to put a few small dents in the aluminum skin but missed everything else. I wasn't too concerned with pictures on Monday morning, just getting it cleaned up. My girlfriend snapped these after I was done though. The limb that broke off landed right where my truck is usually parked, right between the deck and where the camper was parked, and is 10-12" at the base. the tree itself is over 3' at the base of the trunk. Now I'm getting quotes to have it taken down and it's going to heat my house next winter. I did go play the lottery but didn't get quite as lucky there, must have used it all up keeping my things safe.

I'm surrounded by trees. I'm actually thinking of having a bunch of them at least managed by a professional if not taken down completely. The shade is nice but the clean-up following any sort of bad weather is getting a bit ridiculous.

Not to mention when fall comes around, and you have to clean the leafs.
