Tooz was a tad crazy too. Roids were rampant across the league back then.

looks like the O-line questions still remain for Seattle... 7 sacks allowed tonight.

On the other hand, Vikes pass rush looked solid :D

    Some really cool shit
Tried to watch the 1st quarter of the Raiders game last night. WTF is up with Fox and having a chick doing play by play?! They're doing that with baseball as well. Sorry, I just prefer to have a dude giving the play by play. Nice easy baritone, or something close. A Pat Summerall type. Madden. Anyone but some high pitched overachiever chick talking mens football. I turned it off.

several of those sacks was just a rookie hanging onto the ball when he shouldn't have... I think the O-line is doing just fine for preseason. Britt is doing great at center as well as the new guards. :D

Maybe the Hawks should find a way to keep Troymaine Pope.

I don't get the Haha part. The article makes it sound like this is a new thing when in fact this is just an extension of the original contract. The Seahawks have not used "12th man" in years. It was "Haha" back in 2006 when the Aggies filed a lawsuit. Maybe that is what you mean. "Haha" at 2006 Seahawks.

I think it will come down to him and Collins battling it out for the third RB spot. Pope has impressed me more but I don't know if he is very strong in the third down back role.

"HAHA" was because they renewed that dumb license to continue to use someone else's shit - and what's even worse is there's even more restrictions this go around, but they still paid up.

And back in 2006, the hawks had all of 3 fans total. I'm starting to think that the "12" was really the year all the year all the band wagon fans came out 2012. ;)

Try not to get too worked up in this thread, we talk plenty of shit in here and it's not for the thin-skinned :)

Not thin skinned. Still don't get what is funny about the contract extension. The article was poorly written so that was funny. '06 was the year of 4 fans, not 3 thank you very much.

It isn't a more restrictive contract because the Seahawks have all but eliminated "12th Man" designation throughout all of their facilities and media. No reason to pay the aggies for it's use if they aren't going to use it. They paid for it before. The only reason they are paying for it in a more limited basis now is to prevent litigation due to it popping up somewhere without their approval whether it be in unlicensed merchandise, third party promos etc.

I really appreciated the Hasselbeck and Alexander era. They kicked the Niners ass a lot :( . Not sure a lot of current hawk fans even remember them

Hawks bashing from a Niners fan - how original lol:rolleyes:

    some fun facts:
-The Seahawks retired the number 12 back in 1984 in honor of the fans
-yes, they started using the term back in the 20's (still weren't the first ones) but "12th man" wasn't trademarked by A&M until 1990 and they didn't send letters to stop usage until 2004

thats 20 years of the Seahawks building a culture of the 12th man/being the loudest fans before being told to stop. If they want to give a little bit of money to the college to keep some of that tradition alive, I dont think that is silly at all. That little bit of money (chump change compared to how much they make) goes to support the college and keep their traditions/sports programs/education going. I'm all for it.

One thing I will not argue with - is many of the new bandwagon fans are annoying as F%#K. I even want to throatpunch them HAHA. I grew up watching the Seahawks. They were my team long before it was "cool". Steve Largent was the first jersey I ever had :D

ooooh and im pretty sure the current hawks still kick alot of niner ass too:thumbsup:

Hasselbeck is one of my all time favorite Hawks. I never really cared much for Alexander, I appreciated what he did, but I don't put him up there with Lynch/Warner.. too much running out of bounds.

Take it easy on him, he has to get ready for the open QB tryout the 49ers are hosting next week.
