That would make sense. But in the newer ds games you can trade with anyone in the world. So I was hoping it would be somewhat like that

Go drive around downtown Raleigh. I've only driven through there once since this game came out (the night we put the UCAs on) and there were a ton of stops reachable from the car if you just go up and down Mcdowell/Dawson St. You could also just go park at Nash Square (free parking after 5) and walk it. It should be pretty shady since it's full of trees. It had a ton of stops, when I went that night every one of them was lured too. If you want to drive all the way to my loop in downtown Wake Forest you can hit around 40 stops (double up on some after 5min) within a 2-3mile loop, but be warned that I get a lot of reg balls and revives...

 

Downtown raleigh is too busy to drive and spin..I'll go check out some other areas.

 

Other than downtown raleigh maybe the wral soccer park? That may be too far from you. Maybe you can try walking around the mall? Crabtree and Southpoint are both filled with stops.

 

I'm thinking of going to Crabtree. I've read multiple people saying its a good Dratini spot. Near the Red Monkey and Cheesecake Factory...

Yep there are some dratinis there. Red Monkey for sure is a stop and I think there's another one nearby so you can be chillin at 2 stops at once. Or you can walk around the mall and hit up the other stops. My wife caught a dratini at the gamestop. Just be careful going to Crabtree and don't get shot.
