I'm a cook by trade and I'm a nerd for shit like this. I've seen a ton of videos and it's without a doubt a worthwhile investment. It's amazing once you figure it out and you can cook just like at home. Hell I saw an overland group make spaghetti and meatballs on one.

Anyway we can get a discount on the patches they offer or if they'll include one in the group buy? I think I've talked myself into a basic kit. I'll convert to a full size propane probably.

ill find out more info from Jerry, as far as i know, it looks like a 10% off discount for the website, so id assume it would be off your whole order if you had the patch in the cart aswell.
Let me know if you want in ill add you to the list!

So is the Basic Kit the legs and pan only? You have to buy the burner separately? The website isn't super clear on what's in each package.

wow! it isn't very clear at all, with the basic kit youll be getting the skottle, the frame, and the legs. you will have to buy the burner seperate and also come up with a storage solution.
here is a link to the burner you will need if you buy the "basic" kit

Can you get an actual parts list for each package from your contact?
I recall I was going to purchase this a long time ago but was confused by the website as well. The basic doesn't even say that the skottle is included (though I presume by "frame" this is what they mean? Thanks
Put me down as a MAYBE for now pending clarification. I'm at work otherwise I'd offer to call direct.

The gravy looked amazing on it because you can cook it slow and low. Start it about mid day and forget about it until dinner.

Damn they are charging a ton for that burner. If you buy it from Amazon and piece the rest of the kit together you save $10 compared to buying the complete kit.

    With the 10% discount.
Pieced together kit with burner from Amazon $237.60
    Complete kit $247.5
This is assuming there aren't any other pieces in the complete kit that are not listed...
