I got the same brand I think cause they are the only ones that I could find that sell 2" reasonably. They definitely felt as strong as my spider Trax I just can't justify going that big of a spacer anymore so I took them off especially since I just blew a bearing.

It is there for a reason, hence the name it keeps the dust out of the bearing. Are you removing the dust cover for looks ?? What are the advantages of removing it?

I still haven't been to Rausch, but my wife has done a good bit of off wheeling/overlanding with me and she still freaks out now and again. I like your style.

He doesn't think the dust cover is going to fit. The front hub already has a press fit seal over the bearing. The rear is just a raised circle on the drum. The "dust cover" on the wheel is purely for aesthetics IMO.

So, you're in the market for new wheels then? Or you already switched?

it's a cover for a reason, I due have to agree mostly with aesthetics. Just keep that nut from rusting/rotting and you should be ok.

Right, but the nut is already protected by the metal cover on the hub. As long as you don't tweak it too much prying it out!
The only danger of anyone pissing on our Rausch trip was me when I let the wife drive a trail. She DID bend my trans skid all the way across, but it was an easy fix, and she didn't even care when I ordered a bunch of new parts after

They're all just machined t6, as long as they are machined to spec I'm sure they'll be fine

Lol no not for looks, I would love to keep it on, it doesn't fit with the new wheels. I think if I just take good care of it it will be fine.

Will be but for now I'll keep what I got. I will need spacers no matter what because it's almost impossible to find a nice wheel with 2.5"-2.75" bs. I'm torn between SCS f-5's, fn five stars and SCS Ray 10's. This is of course low on my priority list though. I like that the Ray 10's with a 4" bs will put me right at 2.75" bs. Enough to clear the frame but not too extreme.

Oh I hundred percent agree. Mine rode great to be honest and the studs and nuts seemed beefy as hell.

Those ray 10s are coolbut f5s would look best on your truck IMO... Keeps the wheel similar to what you have on now with the stockers. But its youre truck so you do what you want! :D
