crap....just occurred to me when I read this post an hour ago that I still have the sand all over my truck, I just raced down to the DIY car wash on foothill and washed it all off, thanks for the reminder not to leave salty sand on there  There's a bunch of paint scraped off of my sliders now where my feet were on them, that sand is no joke, yikes...

I didn't do that on my Tacoma. I had a hybrid bumper though. 80 lbs.

Hey does anybody on here go on that Tacoma Enthusiast page on FB? Giving valid advice on that forum is taken as if you are telling somebody that you killed a child with a hacksaw.

    "Should I get a 6" lift and 33's on 22" wheels?"

"That will be a really bad set up for comfort and if you ever go off road"

"Hey Fuck you BRO. I'll have you know that I go off road in my 12" lifted Tacoma on 40's and the ride is incredible"

Word. I have an aluminum plate bumper at 80lbs. Evidently there's a slight gap between the Pelfrey bumper and mounting tabs. I demand zero gap. We'll see. Installing this weekend.

I don't really contribute much to the fb TW or tacoma enthusiast pages. Bunch of kids on those pages for the most part. I want nothing to do with that kind of molarchy Haha

I honestly can't believe how terrible most of the rigs that are idolized on that page look.

Ha! And plenty of the advice given on those pages are just as bad as advice given at 4wheel parts. At least the 4wheel parts in Riverside (the closest one to me). It's ugly.

Your ass end was at least 18 inches airborne when you hit those those whoops. Toolbag launched a couple more feet straight out of your bed. Biggest regret of the whole trip was not having my windshield mounted go pro recording :frusty:

Millennials are pretty bad too. A lot of the douches on that page are in their 20's and older than me too.

Nope. Need counseling. I need a safe place. Damnit why is no acknowledging me.

But seriously. I'm assuming you're both under 30? It feels like a weird mix of completely normal, fully functional adults and then.......just giant whiny shit-shows.
