Nah, I'm gonna hold off. The dealerships are all on crack down here. Anyway, my daughter wants a jeep (I know) for her 18th b-day/grad present so I'm probably gonna take the car I gave her back and get her what she wants. I'll keep my 13' for my son and trade her CX7 for a 17. It's a 2012 and paid off so that's more trade money.

@stronghammer and @justinalldredge19 boys I think I'm in. I however will be camping the entire time to make it work financially. That and I already have the RTT and everything ready to go. Only thing I actually need before I can make the trip is more Jerry's and CB radio since we are going to be communist and use a shitty radio system. And if you guys would like any other parts I talked to one of my sponsors and you all can receive 10% off any item they carry if you get the Moab discount code from me :burnrubber:

I will probably camp the whole time and maybe camp at campgrounds that way I can shower. But I have a camp shower setup already and a changing room and awning for being set up. The changing room is the perfect place to scrub down the boys and wash off the dust and cheese

Many people say a stock truck can do just about everything, looks like you already have suspension. You shouldn't have any problems, the more the better.

I think I'd want at least sliders beforehand but you may be right. Trip looks like it'll be a blast

That 3 so far for full time camping! The rest of you ladies need to grow a pair and learn to take a whores bath in your tents.

    Been there more than once.

For everyone really worried about showering, there will be showers. Might be in the form of a camp shower hung on a tree or off the side of a truck or if we stay in cheap camp sites most of them have showering facilities. Either way you'll get a shower.

I would have been all for that when I was a younger man. Nowadays, I want a hot shower and a comfortable bed in a tempature controlled room. I may camp a couple nights to hang with the group of campers, but my back can only tolerate so much.

I have 4 herniated discs in my lumbar and I sleep probably as good as I do in my sleep number bed in my RTT that 3" memory foam is awesome. Should be good weather that time of year in the desert

Guys, I will say this, the hotel selection in and around Moab is sparse. If you're sleeping in a hotel during the trip, book well in advance.
