    Japanese Domestic Manufacturer.

Its also a car scene where people modify their vehicles and retain the clean look by using JDM (OEM parts from equivalent japanese vehicles)

A lot of the drifter guys and EDM (european domestic manufacturer ie. VW, audi) put smaller width tires on wide rims and stretch the tires. My buddy used to have a super clean 97 240sx he built (known as "pur pur" to everyone in atlanta) with 215 width tires on a 9 inch rim. Looked super cool but a total death trap to drive.

I'm running 265's on a 9 inch wide rim. Doesn't look stretched to me.

    Do they make a 31X10.50 in a 16" rim?

I dont believe they do. You will have to get the equivalent metric size..however why not get a 32" equivalent? 265/75/16?
