It's no wonder Toyota is losing market share and isn't ranked by most automotive journals as the best mid-sizer.

If your truck that you "supposedly" have is trouble free, why do you continue commenting on threads that are from owners having issues?

They had owned the market when GM and ford dropped out and Nissan wasent stealing any sales. So toyota got cheap with the truck to earn more money knowing they owned the market, and now it is hurting them.

How come Seatbelt Mike will do every interview possible promoting the gen 3 but hides away when the large-scale issues become known?

I agree, but one would think Toyota would have seen the competition coming down the pipe. A classic case of resting on laurels. Toyota is coasting on the gen 2 reputation.

You still have your truck, you keep your truck until you win and set a date of return. They have a few opprotunites to fix it, if they cant then they replace or refund the truck.

Kind of unrelated but an odd thing happened to me a few days ago, I passed one of these on the interstate near the New Mexico/Colorado border. Nissan must be testing these as the next-gen Frontier or it is a mule with the next-gen Frontier powertrain. I saw the new Colorado on I-25 several months before it hit dealers once too.

I don't think it has been confirmed as being the next-gen. I do know it is the global version of the Frontier called the Navara. It is kind of like the Hilux to the Tacoma. I still think it's possible Nissan might make a US version that is styled differently.

I thought they were going to make a modle to configure with all countries to save money, so they have one body with some doffrences and not two completely different ones.

If you haven't already, notify NHTSA of this dangerous problem. If enough people do then the gov't. will be on notice to advise Toyota to address this vehicle's problem/s!

Maybe that explains it. I did see it not far from Mexico and I do occasionally see Chihuahua plates on Mexican cars that are in the states.
