Has anyone found a bra specifically for the 2016 Tacoma?

Interested to know as well. At the moment I still use the factory installed clear 3M film that covers the hood and fenders...

If not, do the poor mans bra, plastidip. Outline how far up the hood and fenders you want covered and lay about 3-5ft of paper or newspaper for over spray. I did that with my honda when I go on trips. Cheaper than getting a bra for it...

...^^^... Those 3M plastic sheets are unusually regional or dealer installed.
IIRC, the factory never puts that on. FWIW, if you don't take it off soon, it will yellow and also your paint will have a giant patina change between protected and unprotected areas. Had this problem twice and removed that fast on my 2016. Regional distributor put mine on before delivery and tried to bill me $450.00 for it.

PS. I noticed you are in FL, I am in GA. In FL, ask dealer to show you a car that has had that on it in FL for 2 years in hot & bright sun.

You are correct sir, after I posted, it hit me. Also correct about the two tone and discoloration but, at the moment I have to travel due to moving from state to state so I'll leave it for now. The truck stays garaged all the time due to having a work beater... Will come off though, took it off my highlander avoiding two tone.

...^^^... Good move to keep it on while move and keeping it garaged. We have a lot of sun, but the sun you have there can be brutal and discolor almost anything. I hate moving and I'm getting ready to move in next year too ... good luck with your move.

PS ... Nice truck you have, barcelona Red is my favorite color for a Tacoma for both looks and visibility.

Why make your truck ugly to protect it from getting ugly? :notsure:

I see you folks have been busy!

Yep, I DO want one of those ugly boob holders because we have love bugs in Florida and I only want to install the "ugly 90's monstrosity" for road trips.

I contacted LaBra and they commented that they require at least six inquiries before they make a pattern. So, for you OTHER people that want to make your truck look ugly to keep it from looking ugly, call them and make a request

I checked with California Carcover and they're supposed to be in the process of making them too.

Those black bras do more damage than protection. Dirt gets under them. Bra moves. Scratches are next.

    ^This.

Clear bra is the better route but after a couple years starts to turn yellow and if the paint is fading around the clearbra, what was under it will have a different color than the rest of the vehicle.
