I've shot at the Tacoma Sportsmen's Club a few times, a few years back. I know the public range I used went out to 200 yards. At the time, a 30 round mag was allowed, but you couldn't rapid fire. Little bit of a drive. It's out by @busmup808

Heading out on Saturday for my first night of exploring. Most likely going to keep it near I90 or Greenwater. Stoked.

 

How does the rig feel? I need to do my timing belt soon wanna help?

I've rubbed my flares so hard and they didn't come off.. Not sure why yours did

 

Best place I've found for shooting rifles is Range 15, on the East side of JBLM. Open to the public, never had any issues with fully loaded mags or shooting relatively rapid. RO's (at least, the older, retired gentlemen) have always been super cool and helpful. Some of the younger guys can be over-the-top. Haven't been there in a while, but I heard they no longer allow magnum rifles.

Still, pistol range plus 50, 100, 200 and 300 yard targets is pretty nice for $5 (last I was there).

Well, I'm still alive over here. Found myself an irresistible woman and moved into my new house. There goes time and mod money! LOL. I'm hoping to make an overnight trail run in late September. I need to verify the days I'm available. @JimSnell, I still have the Relentless brackets in my truck. They are yours next time we meet.

 

I totally forgot about range 15.

It's $7.50 for civilians now, and yeah, no magnums.

 

Really? Their website says its closed to civilians, only guests of Mil/LEO are allowed

 

If you want to get out this weekend maybe, I'd be down for a stroll up to stampede pass. There's a bunch of spots where you can reach out to 200yrs and maybe a bit farther. I need to check the zero on my .308 before hunting season.

Sweet. I'll keep you posted and we'll arrange something for Saturday if that works. I need to check with the missus, but I don't think I have plans. My backs been fucking with me and I'm a bit immobile, hoping I'll be fine to get out and do some shooting. It's also bear season, so that's another reason to get out and about.

I have a ton of extra clips you can have for free. Now you just need a flare

 

Headed up to Gallagher head lake for some camping this weekend. No meadow posing pictures for me. The dog can shit anywhere he wants. He looks like a bear and a bear does shit in the woods.
