So you think your day sucks...

I had to drop off an envelope for work, needed to be done today or else there would be serious implications. So i find the closest drop box and haul ass to get there before the mail man.

I get there and realize that i forgot the letter at home. :annoyed:

Damn good thing i brought taco salad for lunch.

I love the Vicious Pumas in the Cravices. If I ever win Lotto there will be a mural somewhere in Denver to that story.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Don't feel bad. Mine was a pain in the ass. I ended up busting my knuckle open on my skid plate. That is when it came out.

Crowbar and your feet. You're looking for a hard kick on the bar to pop it loose. Try rotating the CV too and that may help line up the clip better.

I rented a slide hammer from autozone when I did mine. And a giant band clamp. So I hooked a claw up to the inner part. Put the band clamp around it to keep it on there and it popped right out with a couple whacks.

Had to keep pulling it to try and get that seal to stop leaking. I got pretty proficient!

Fortunately I haven't drawn blood during this phase of the project...yet. Gloves have saved me a few times.

The good news is that the driver side finally just let go, albeit very reluctantly. Same thing I've been doing, just hitting it harder. I also think I needed to bitch about It and share the feels. It helps.

I'll try this on the passenger side. Need to save my arm strength for the diff.

Holy shit...one firm kick on the pry bar against the passenger side and it popped right out. I'm amazed how easy that was after how much hammering I just did.

    Thanks for all the tips!

What's wrong with the hook that usually comes with the line?
