Damn that conversation kept going. I am sure based on experience that old Brett can recover a stuck rig with a twig, a rock, and some twine from his fist aid kit and he doesn't need any fancy new stuff with safety labels on it. Experience can far surpass technology in a number of areas. But I am younger, have less experience then Brett and can afford the additional safety measures to make it easy to have a safe recovery.

Young Brett cut Jake some slack. I remember just a short time ago a young punk ass high school kid on TW that was not nearly as refined or arugmentative as you are now.

And anyone notice how the "Brett's" are the trouble makers? Interesting. :D

I assumed they were around $50.00. Actual price is laughable, especially when combined with the marketing lies.

But at the same time, there is a wide range of cost associated with something as simple as wheels. In the end they are all round and the only thing that really sets them apart performance wise is the offset. Otherwise, they all work the same, without any need for special training. More people, unfortunately, actually buy wheels for the design and color, and don't take into account the issues associated with having the wrong offset. But I digress..

I see that chunk of aluminum the same way, but it does look cool and I won't deny that.
And it certainly works. And to be honest I don't think anybody needs any special training to use one, I just didn't care for that pretentious remark that set this whole conversation on edge.

Just stopping in to see what stuff is flying around lately. Living in highly populated areas sure makes people edgy and irritable. Everyone had a different tolerance level for everything from how to roast a marshmallow to how to spell the words like osolating..wait that doesn't look right.

Initially I thought Jake misspelled on purpose but now I've gotten to where I'm actually anxious reading a post to see how the word great, grate or axel was used. But that doesn't matter, I know he's a great at a lot of stuff that I suck at. No need for me to stir that pot. Everybody's different and thats ok,,that's why some people need a flat link, 35's and $15k in mods to drive in a city more to get attention than for function. Not because they are doing trails that someone with 33 or even 32's couldn't do. I'm actually the opposite of EAF and have no stickers, like to be low profile and enjoy getting as little attention as possible. Works pretty well too as most the expensive builds I see here through the summer just look right by me as they drive home to the city. Ha

I don't know that I've ever been accused of being refined. Lol. Argumentative I'll concur with. :D

And punk high school kid? I bought my truck two years after I graduated high school.

I read through that several times and read that as 'are' every time. :notsure:

I know it's there, I do that all the time. Thinking what I want to say in my head, and something else gets typed. I rarely catch it because I read it as I wanted it to be.

I had to look up sematic satiation, and I'm don't think that's what this is, but wouldn't doubt there's a term for it.

I don't think it is either, but it was the closest definition I could think of.
Lack of proofreading might be more applicable, but doesn't sound nearly as cool.

Yeah I like those E470 signs a lot. Unfortunately I pass them way too often.

I forgot what the Pokemon Go one was but it was great.

Is that like an oxymoronical statement, or just ironic?

1st summer season wheeling the Tundra thoughts.

This thing is fat, really fat. I have pin stripes where you shouldn't have pin stripes. I have not been stopped by a skinny trail yet.

Even with a 4.7 v8 you can still feel the need for gears when going up in tire size.

Waiting on bumpers and a winch (with a flatlink :cookiemonster:) because the initial purchase price of the truck was high, sucks.

Never should have thought about 33s on a truck this big, wasted money.

    No factory locker, WTF
