Nobody makes 4.30 for Tacoma front clam shell diff that I could find. Did a bunch of searching a while back.

 

Damn. Would have been perfect for me. Looks like it's 35's and 4.56 or just 4.10 and 295's for eternity... Which is still a big jump from 3.73.

 

I like my 4.56s with 35s. Feels about right.

 

Yep if I were to go 35's 4.56 would be it. I just got 295's 10k ago lol, which I really like.

How's is the KTM? Thinking about getting a 200 around the same year as yours here in the near future....

 

Utter awesome. I don't see the bike limiting me for years... I need to get my brakes bled, but then it's back to hitting the trails. I've haven't had an issues with it at all really besides me mucking up the brakes haha. Plenty of power, hydraulic clutch is amazing, easy to start, easy to maintain. No complaints.

 

Didn't know they had a hydraulic clutch. What year did that start? And how's is the low end? Can you lug it pretty well? That's the one thing I'm not liking about my cr125… lacking on low end torque.

 

Um, they've had them for a long long time. 1998 for the smaller cc bikes and 1999 for the bigger bikes. That's like KTMs biggest claim to fame haha. Anytime some yamaha rider flips you shit about your KTM ask how their hand is doin
For real it makes trail riding so much easier. And yes, the low end is awesome. You can lug their 2 strokes around all day. I also have an FMF pipe which made the low end transition awesome. Nice and smooth. I actually went riding with a dude on a CR125. He's a crazy good motocross racer and has a bored out 450 as well. He's obviously a better rider than me but he fought that CR125 like crazy on the trails while I just walked my KTM up everything. KTM definitely has the 2 stroke enduro game figured out.

Thanks man! I bet that hydraulic clutch is nice. My clutch hand was killing me the other day when i was screwing around trying to do really technical stuff and having to work the clutch alot. And I will definitely watch the vid! I watch alot of Enduro vids in my spare time lol. Enduro KEX on YouTube is crazy! Give then a look! They are hard on there stuff lol.

 

Maybe just get tougher. Never have i ever, had my left hand bother me from running the clutch. Just my arms a wrists from fighting the bars since my bike is so stupidly heavy.

 

Well I was trying g to wheeling for like a half an hour and having to hold the clutch in for periods of time and working it my hand got tired lol. I guess really it was that one arm was getting pumped, not exactly my hand. My hand was aching a bit when I got off though. I do get arm pump really bad. I can't relax and it ticks me off lol

Grasping the clutch up was the hardest part. From there it gets easier...unless you start getting fancy.

Stand ups are still hard for me because i can't shift while standing without leaning forward and cocking my foot down (big feet)

 

Yeah spending a lot of time on tight trails trying to slip your clutch and get up over fallen trees and stuff gets to ya haha.

You clutch up on your dirtbike? I always just do power wheelies on the dirtbike. I have however been getting better at my clutch ups on Eva... *video to follow*
