I had cooper discoverer AT3s on my previous "truck". i liked them, they were grippy. The only thing that annoyed me about them was how soft they were. They'd flat spot on my driveway after a day or two of being parked, so the first few miles i'd hear thud thud thud thud thud until the pavement beat the flatspot off the tires.

Work at a garage have sold a ton of coopers AT/ATR/AT3 ! Loved the ATR previous AT version. HATE yes HATE the AT3! Put them on many trucks doesn't matter if you rotate them regular or not they wear terrible. Put a set on my dads truck they are so cupped I can't stand to drive his truck, noisey as hell and feels like front bearings are bad which aren't .(new) AT3 are horrible. He won't get new tires cus they still have aprox 75% tread left.
Only work part time at the garage so I'm kinda out of the loop on whats great now. I read lots of good things about the hankook dyna pros, but I think side wall is fugly JMHO .

Love the look of the dura tracks. But those at3 remind me a lot of most Goodyear tires great when brand new but turn to crap fast.
I have replaced a bizillion good years with slipped belts.

Thank You Littlemule. I wonder how your experience can be so drastically different from most of the others.

I guess I've become super critical of the AT3 . Because I've seen so many that got severely cupped way to fast. That's just my experience. I'm sure they perform great.

Thank You, Littlemule. Your experience concerns me though. Do you think that could result from people not rotating on a regular basis?

Well all I can say is mine are rotated every 5k but like I said, I haven't checked alignment or anything yet to find out why they are wearing like they are.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I'll just chime in here that I went with the Cooper A/Tw because I wanted the performance of the A/T3 with winter capability....and I regret it. Horrible snow performance. Just horrible. Wet and dry is excellent but they should be ashamed to put a winter rated label on them. I now have 35k on them and they're just starting to get noisier. I was on the freeway the other day and actually looked around the cab for the source of the excessive noise. Getting very noticible now. They're also feathering pretty bad even though I rotate them every 5k, check the air weekly, and got an alignment when I had them put on. No more Coopers for me.

The local Tire Barn used to sell Coopers and they told me they were pulled out of the store because of vibration issues.

The P load on my personal truck seem to be wearing faster than I'd like. The C load on my work truck still look brand new.

I ordered AT3's in 245/75R16's in LR C yesterday, Maticuno. I hope my C's last like yours! Some of the negative issues people have posted concern me, but there were also a lot good things.

    Thanks Everyone!

Exact tires on my work truck, which see absolutely abusive use.

I will also throw in that brand new I had major vibration issues. I pulled out of the lot after having them installed and thought they forgot to torque my lug nuts. After having them re-check the road force balancing they said one of them was waaaay out of spec. I don't remember the #s but it was like 3 were under 10 and the 4th was at 27. They had to contact Cooper for a warranty replacement of the 4th tire that I literally drove .10 miles. Again, not impressed.
