Maybe all the 3rd gen guys complain so much b/c they don't want the 2nd gen guys like me feeling bad that we have to drive around in these old crappy trucks... It's actually very nice of them.

 

I like to think of it as it's teen years and the facelift will be the meno-pauze. Same thing happened with the 2gen.

 

I had a 97 TJ that spent its life as a rock crawler. Little 4cyl engine, 4:10 gears, 33" tires, and a worn out everything. The poor bastard couldn't make it up hills anymore and would top out around 55mph and shake. Drove like a brick on sandpaper.

I loved that piece of shit more than anything in the world. Still miss it all the time.

 

We weren't hiding well enough. Next time, next thread. We'll hide better.
