to be fair, I'd probably get a 17 if I was in the market. F150's are too big for where I like to go and I haven't had a lot of luck with GM. I'll definitely give the new ranger a look when it comes around though. Saw one overseas at it was about the same size as my 2nd gen

Is this the right place to ask how to use my 4-wheel drive? It doesn't seem to work for me. Any help?

grease the Zerk and zip tie the front driveshaft, then bang on the hood, wait for the 2wd to 4wd shift delay and a kazoo sound from the door. that should let you know it is engaged! Just remember if you hear a howl from the rear end it is working correctly :D

Ahh, I skipped step #3 - bang on the hood. Let me give that a shot and I'll report back.

You know how you always want to look at the asshole who blocked traffic on a two lane road for the last 25 miles....this is a generous comparison to the 3rd gen complainers who would rather post than go to the dealer...I would love to get a look at their stupid mugs....

Ok, so I banged on the hood and it works now. I get a howl from the front and the back, so I guess that means both my diffs are working. However, when I banged on the hood, I got some weird shit all over it. Same as the pics in this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/my-petty-3rd-gen-bitch-thread.445537/

So, now I need to wash it. I asked in another thread how to wash my truck but nobody would help me. I tried to wash it before, but now I have all kinds of scratches and my tires started rubbing.

I let air out of my tires, and they don't rub anymore, but I can't figure out how to wash my truck and get rid of these scratches!!!

Some guy on here said to use some elbow grease. I didn't have any elbow greases, so I drained a little transmission fluid and used that. Now my truck is low on ATF and shifts like shit.

I swear to fuck, this truck is a piece of shit. Fuck Toyota.

I can help you. I drove up to the entrance of Trader Joes to pick up my wife. She gets in and I step on the gas. Can't get over the speed bump in 2wd so I drop it into 4lo, turn the muti terrain select to speed bump and totally climb that bitch. Pure awesomeness.

If you drained some ATF that means you have none left because it was already low! put only 10psi in the tires, and make sure its from an onboard air from a 2nd gen since thats superior air. As far as the scratches go, if you take it to florida and drive down a hard sand packed road with a prius leading the way and take it off some cool bro jumps, the florida water will make the scratches disappear like 3rd gen magic!
