Came across a level 9 gym (my own team) needed 5k points to level it up. Bottom pokemon was a 1730 Lapras
Beat it with a 1350 Jolteon 9 times lol. Got the gym to level 10! Leveled up my vileplume so it would be sitting at the #3 spot

 

That's dedication...

My gym is now a level 7 and I'm the 6th pokie (egg) between a snorlax and Vape still.

 

Random...

Yesterday I saw an instinct gym that was a level 2 but only had 1 pokie on it. It was a 112 Abra and I added my 1400 egg to it. About 30 min later I came back around to that gym and my egg was still on top of it and it was still a level 2 gym but now the 1st pokie was like a 800 Magmar or something. How did that first pokie get switched? Idk if it was the same trainer or not, I just know the gym stayed instinct because my egg was still on it...

 

Some one knocked the prestige down to a level 1, the Abra got booted but they couldn't beat you egg. Another person (or same abra dude) comes up and trains the gym up to level 2 and adds their magmar.
