i just got the tsb done today so im thinking i will start to collect my parts for my suspension upgrades. im thinking of getting the toytec 1.5 tsb aal for the rear, bilstein 5125 for the rears, 5100's up front set at .85 with some eibach lift springs and some 285 on 17's. i know i might have to do some shims or drop kits and trimming but any of you guys have any positive feedback or negative with this setup or would change it in any way? i want to keep a slight rake in the front so im not looking to make it completely level and my 87 toy takes the hit on most of my offroading urges but this one will see dirt now and again.

I'm not sure you'll be able to fit 285s with just .85 up front but I'm not positive

Lots of trimming for that tire on that lift. Get good backspaced wheels and overkill on the 5125, you don't need them

    oil change...
the springs will give you like 1.5" of lift, so those with the .85 on the shocks you should be hok with minor trimming.

i was hoping to get 2.5 inches in the rear after everything has settled and about 2 in the front with the lift springs and coilovers. so will the fronts settle to around 2 inches or will they stay higher if i set them at .85? if they do settle will i still be able to fit 285s with trimming?

What's your budget? Why not just get the toytec ultimate lift kit and call it a day?

That setup should work good for you, except I think you could get away with 5100's in the rear. You can get front and rear 5100's from downsouthmotorsports.com. My 5100's, Eibach springs, 1/4" taco lean shim, 1.5 toytec aal's, and carrier bearing drop are waiting to be installed.

I had the same setup in the back. The 5100's max out (travel)at 2 inches over (lift) stock height.Go with the 5125's @10" of travel. Now my bump stops will hit before the shocks bottom does.

^ how do you get 2.5" in the rear without going custom or the ome 2.75" pack? if you do go over 2" i agree with the 5125's

tsb leaf spring pack nets you just under 1" after it settles.(at least mine did):D ToyTec aal @ 1.5" more.
