I just checked my oil and its exactly half way between the add mark and the full mark. I would feel much better if it was at the full mark. Would it be covered under warranty for them to add half a quart or should I wait for a TSB to come out? Also the oil was very clean looking...almost clear, shouldn't it be black as coal? Could this be why my transmission shifts funny? Any advice would be appreciated.

If you're concerned I'd take it to the dealer to have them investigate. Transmissions were coming low on fluid, I guess it's not inconceivable that a engine might come low on oil...

For God's sake guys, he's obviously kidding. The average person is an idiot for sure, but nobody is that dumb. He's poking fun at all the actual idiots out there.

Sounds like you need to add a bit of oil. It mixes in with the fuel since these new trucks are 2 strokes.

Well depending on the color of the oil you put in at the oil change. It could be purple or if you are more into neon colors you could add a leak detection dye to the oil and you'll get a wonderful green. This also makes it easy to detect leaks when they happen.
