Figured with a hand full of people asking questions about the adaptation of the OME lift kits on the new Gen3 I'd start this thread. There has been lots of talk of alignment issues with different OME lift kits and this may serve as a good repository for results specific to these lifts, so post away. I'm looking into a lift since there is a group buy going on right now for them and have concerns with alignment.

Any body care to post results?

I've been interested in getting an OME kit as well but wanted to wait until an official 2016 kit was released by them.

If you read thru this group buy post there are people running this kit on their 2016 and it fits perfectly fine!

Glad to see some traction here. I was under the impression that those that want to use the 885's didn't need UCAs to achieve proper alignment. Would love for someone to back this up. I'd like only a mild lift and don't feel the need to go with 887s... I also don't mind a slight rake from having 885's and dakars in da back.

I'm doing 885s but they are going on my access cab and it's a bit lighter than a double cab so just getting the upper control arms just as a precaution cause it won't hurt if I get a little over a 2 inch lift with those my alignment will be in spec!

I have the full kit on my truck. I used the 885 springs with the soft ride shocks and a progressive add a leaf from headstrong off road. I chose to use Camburg upper control arms with the moog ball joints. I did not try without the arms to get the alignment in spec. With them I was able to get everything back to factory recommended specs.

I think you hit the mark for this kit, not sure if you do better with stock UCA's...what size tires are you running with what wheels and offset just FYI to include into the equation, sure would help trickle things down a bit...Mahalo

No worries brah! I'm running 275/70/17's trd rims on KO2's. Forgot what offset was but it wasn't that much - maybe 10mm? Took my truck light off-roading a couple of weekends ago and I'm starting to realize that I need sway bar relocation brackets. I'm getting a clunking sound now and it's because the sway bar is super close to the 885 coils. Just a heads up but luckily it's a cheap fix.

Would there be any issues with 285/70/17 tires on the stock 17" trd sort rims??

I have the same exact question... Im leaning towards OME over Toytec Boss setup, Id love to put some 285/70/17s on my stock sports, maybe bump them out an inch with spacers
