USA Spec Toyota iPod adapter. I am sick of having to burn cd's but don't have the ability to go drop $149 on a new one... if anyone has one that they no longer need and wants to sell it, PM me.

Or if anyone has a different iPod adapter that is not an fm modulator/transmitter that directly goes into my head unit, that works too. I don't care if it controls or charges the ipod or not, I just want good sound quality and low cost.

 

so you dont want an FM transmitter?

 

I've already tried several FM transmitters and was extremely disappointing.... anything less than CD quality and I can't even listen to it... It's amazing to me that I can deal with the stock stereo for this long when my previous truck had an upgraded Bose unit.

 

Does anyone know if I can take the head unit out of an 2009 Taco and use that? I know i don't have the little plug on my dash but I figure there will be a way to make it work.

Long before the Taco, even before my SE-R... Got traded on a 2007 Camry SE for my Dad. Learned how to drive in it and had it to myself for a couple months before we got rid of it.

 

too bad. Sorry to de rail your thread, im gonna shut up now, good luck with your search. FYI im selling a Griffin FM transmitter for 75, its pretty good, but you know its an FM transmitter so it wont be like perfect quality, but i just wanted to let ya know incase you want one
