I am 1st gen DCSB, sliders, skids, front plate bumper, rear HC bumper with corner guards and pizza cutters (not like @JimSnell pizza cutters)

 

You might be fine on it, since the first gens, even with lift, are shorter than his xj with full exo. But, it gets pretty rough sometimes, especially when wet. He typically uses his lockers every time he goes. If you go, I would recommend getting a nice trip with the Toyota buggy guys first to see the layout.

 

After yesterday's fun, back at it replacing my lower control arms. I'll go ahead and jinx myself... Everything is going really well today!

Fuck you, Whiteline Bushings. Hours and hours and hours of labor to get less than 6 months out of them. Should have just bought new factory LCAs to begin with. Lesson learned.

 

Usually my reasoning with thing is if a 4 door JK can fit, a 2nd gen can do it...

Your truck you'd have no problems there. I went with my 80 series Landcruiser fully armored and open front/back lifted on 35s during winter and did well. It would of make life easier if I was locked front/back, but what is the fun in that. My truck had so much flex, I literally had all tires on the ground 80% of the time

1st gen only because of the narrow entrance and some narrow/tight turns. I also wouldn't do it with a DBLCB, too long!

Yep they did the double hose too though I didn't ask them to....I just handed them my keys and let them do their thing. They are a really great bunch down there.

I wish I went with the double unit. I'm running a single with a tank. The manifold gets really hot. Carefully you don't store anything else near or on top of it.

 

How big is your tank and where did you put it?

 

Yeah don't put anything else in that cubby. I always fold the back of the seat forward a little bit just so the back of the seat isn't right against it.

 

It's a 2.5 gallon I mounted where my spare tire used to be.

 

Yeah I don't plan on running it without the seat forward. I've got all the rest of my recovery gear in the rear cubby on the passenger side so there shouldn't be anything near the compressor.

The switch is mounted in the center console just behind of the shifter. I'll have to look into a Switch Pro or sPod once I start getting a few more things but this setup works well.
