You are correct in some sense. Spending time and money can yeld in your favor as well. This all depends on your lawyer and the actual circumstances. Case in point, I had to get a lawyer several years ago to go after a bad home builder. Did i spend time and money..of course I did, but in the end I reaped the beneifits and came out very well. Let me put it to you this way. The money i spent on a lawyer I made back plus 40%. Again, it just depends on the circumstances and getting a good lawyer.

Actually the issue at hand more than likely would not require the assistance of counsel. I've been confronted with issues such as this over the course of my career and if you are well informed and armed with the correct information typically you will come out ahead.

I've gone over and around a bunch of numb skulls in my life. The worse they are the harder I try to get them fired. I can be a grade A, USDA prime asshole if I need to be.

Changing the tires may or may not void the warranty on the rear diff but then you'll also have to risk playing the game of "The aftermarket tires are making the noise"

The magnusson moss act only works in a court of law. Are you ready (financially and timewise) to pony up with lawyers and take Toyota to court?

I hear you smitty but this is a well known documented problem with these trucks. Also what about when the OEM tires wear out am I tied to getting the same OEM tires just to stay in compliance with the warranty I mean does one size up really make a difference

The FTS and Service Manager advised me to leave the truck STOCK until these issues are worked out. Proceed at your own risk.

I've got $1000 in tires sitting here. Thousands in the suspension and everything else. I really don't care if the diff starts making noise. $200 ring and pinion and a couple hundred in bearings.

This is exactly why I ditched my plan of putting on the TRD Pros with KO2s. I have the rear end noise, and didn't want to risk it. Instead went with the TRD faux Beadlock wheels (that are an option on the accessories of the build page) and stuck with my stock tires.

I don't care what the law says. If they tell you it is your fault because of the wheels and tires, you are SOL til you find a lawyer.

That's right unless you bring in a gun and force them to do the work. Hopefully they can finish before SWAT arrives.

Hmm, I just put the trd pro wheels and new tires (275/70) on my off road last week. So far, no vibrations or howling. If the rear end acts up and they wont fix it, then I'll eat it. The truck looks ten times better!!20160821_144759.jpg
