Sndtrper - The color I bought was Dark Blue (35) Velour. If you decide to get a dash cover,
ask for additional velcro strips. Mine came with two about 8" long, which I cut into 1" lengths
and then cut them in half lengthwise. Three 8" strips would have been sufficient. The velcro
strips they provide use water soluble adhesive which will not stain your dash should you
(or the next owner) decide to remove the dash cover. And, DashCare Dashcovers have a 5
year warranty against material or manufacturing defects. Warranty applies to purchases
made directly from DashCare by the original purchaser only.

 

Relentless fab bars came in. Not gonna run them full time, it's just for the RTT. And I also installed PoP N lock.

 

....yeah california screws you over, makes you register as a commercial vehicle. As for insurance...it kinda makes since. Insurance goes up BECAUSE it's a new car...It's worth more, costs more to insure.

Love the truck besides the "notchy" "tick-tock" speedo needle and rpm needle. It bugs the hell out of me. This time I got a video on my phone to show the dealer. But since they "can't" replicate the problem it will go about as good as pissing into the wind.

 

Put a SR5 Grille on my MGM TRD Sport. Loving the look!

Did your color on your tonneau come in a good match? I'm flirting with that one but hesitant with the color match.

 

Kolache King - That Undercover Lux was purchased in December 2015, among the first hard
cover Tonneaus available and it matches perfectly. It couldn't be any closer if I had taken it
to a body shop and paid a premium price to have it painted. Undercover did an excellent job
of matching the new color.

Well I didn't actually DO anything to the truck today, but I did receive this from Headstrong!! You hear Marie this and Marie that, but let me tell you it's the truth. Her customer service is top notch. She's probably an android programmed to be the best?! But the best part of my order wasn't the suspension, it was a shot glass with the Headstrong logo on it!! Big time props to Marie!! Thanks again.

This may be a coincidence..... My tach needle used to skip a little. Only once in a while. Also, my digital speedo was always off 1 or 2 mph compared to analog speedo needle. I got the tsb tranny flash a while back and since then tach needle is normal and both speedos are dead on. I can't help but think the tsb had something to do with it?

 

I've had the tach needle problem a few times but always seems to "work it's self out". This whole week on my drive to work in the morning i don't see any issues with it. But on the way home it has problems. I've yet to get the transmission tsb. But this Saturday Lil Red goes in for her 10k service, so the tsb will get done. Hopefully.
Least I'm not the only one who's experienced problems with this. Hopefully it's a quick fix.

 

Picked up my bumper today from the Powder Coaters. Did an excellent job with a 2 day turn around. My old powder coaters would take minimum a week. Excellent price and excellent service in any one us in Houston/Tomball I highly recommend you check out Dominguez Powder Coating great people and great service.

Either way installed the finished bumper after 3 weeks of having to wait either due to job, fabricator, or other things(weather mostly). It was on the truck while the fabricators fabbed the extensions to match the 6" fenders. Now I just have to install the winch and lights and get it ready to ship to @JT@Bajakits

I sure wish you'd ship the brackets for the ditch lights to Canada. I've tried to add a Canadian address, but a pop up window says you don't ship. Such a shame. =(

 

Installed some sumosprings.

Oh and got a nice crack along the windshield. Rock flew up last Friday. Finally got the claim in Tuesday, was able to schedule the repair yesterday, and today it decides to run across the window. Getting a replacement on Monday.
