    Att: Mobtown....just an idea....would you guys ever make an adapter piece to bolt under these stock side steps....just to jack up the truck. Not sure if it's pheasable but a good idea I hope.

    Umm...well my truck is gonna be lifted about 3" so curious if the stock jack would even work once that's done....so would have to buy a High lift jack....

    They make floor jacks that have a higher lift height designed purposely for pick ups and subs.

    But a high lift lifting point would be cool. If have to think about it though. It would be tough to make it a solid lift point with those steps there.

    I picked my up from the freight depot yesterday. Another pallet destroyed. The sliders look ok but I won't know till I unwrap them and prep for paint. This is another reason not to bother with powder coat prior to shipping. I don't see them arriving blemish free via freight.

    I will be prepping them for some of the VHT epoxy paint tonight with any luck.

    Can you remind me who they shipped through? I have no good way of looking up your order with just a TW member name. We stopped using one of the freight companies for this and many other reasons. But I think yours shipped just before that.

    It was shipped through yrc. I had some fun trying to find the terminal but that would be Google's fault. Apparently using limited access military roads is acceptable.

    Received sliders yesterday. The pallet was busted up and they weren't wrapped in anything, but they were still banded to the pallet and seem to be ok. The box with all the hardware was loose on the truck, looks like it was busted as well with a hole in it.....I THINK everything seems to be there though. Will be purchasing VHT epoxy this weekend. Am going to wipe them down with acetone and then spray the VHT on everything, any other steps i should take to prep for the VHT?

    Wire wheel them really well, then acetone heavy, dry with compressed air then paint
