Give it a few months... soon those diesel colorados will be standing at Toyota dealer across. People will trade them for Tacomas.

Agreed the interior of the Colorado looks so f'ing cheap. I couldn't take it seriously after I saw the inside.

Chevy and Ford are going to do everything they can to step in and fill the emerging void created by Toyota's recent attempt at their GEN3 Tacoma. Plenty of room for them to capitalize on Toyota's move if they play their cards right. My personal opinion...if Ford tackles their new Ranger like they have their other vehicles recently Toyota had better look out and/or step up their game. I guess time will tell...

I like that 300+ hp V6 man. If I bought a new Camero, that's the motor I'd go for. Screw the SS, screw the big vette motor. That little V6 with a manual trans would be really fun to drive.

I mean, who needs to go faster than 150 mph anyway?

If I can get ignored by people without directly insulting anyone or calling names, I must be doing something right. =) Sand box envy is what it is. As boys we always wanted the newest toy and didn't like it when someone else got a new, shinier toy. Some things never change. =)

Is it me, or are the people talking shit about the 3rd Gen Tacoma all people who DON'T own one?

Now that my ATF has the right amount of fluid (not Toyota's fault - supplier issue which as been rectified) there are zero issues. Last 5 tanks have been low to mid 19 MPGs, and that's city driving.

Chevy is still trying to offset their gas-guzzlers (FS trucks and SUVs), and adding the Colly/Canyon to the list.

    So what?

Any new truck is going to be a downgrade from firstgenbestgen, so I'll be disappointed with any of the new offerings.

That literally makes no sense, particularly when your shiny new toy (I assume this is what you attempted to infer) is a 2002, and my old, crappy toy is a 2013.

You're at your best when you're off of my screen, so back you go.

See it in person. "Don't forget the put the trim back in place when it pulls away with the door handle."

My woman's 2006 Chevy SUV does that. :anonymous:

Also when you shut the passenger door the entire door panel bounces off the top of the window channel, because it's a piece of shit.

ive seen some dash panels not lining up so i know what hes saying, but not every one is like that. Just like not every 3rd gen is a POS.

But jesus christ another brand CAN be good as well.

Look how riled up he gets because I think it's a good thing that GM is offering up more. That is a tell-tale sign of fanboyism if you ask me. Go for it, call me "Poor" like other fanboys do because I don't own a third gen. It will really cement your title as fanboy.

I'll have to stop and check one out. Kind of curious to see how the Colorado compares to the Tacoma anyways. One thing I can say for Toyota is their interiors tend to be fairly basic/plain but they seem to hold up well.

I've seen both interiors. The tacoma interior is one of the nicest interiors I've seen for any truck 40k and under.

The Colorado's wasn't good to me. It looked cheap. Like a 19k car who put a few nice things in with everything around it looking crappy.
