    Hey Guys -
Looking for a FRONT SPACER ONLY, without touching the rear suspensions, that will perfectly level out the truck. This is a temporary fix for me until I go icon stage 3 next year, but for now I'd like to just bring the front end up slightly to be level with the rear. I do NOT WANT TO TOUCH THE REAR SUSPENSION. Also, Since this is a temporary setup for me, I don't want to replace the shocks which was another option I explored.

does anyone here have recommendations on which spacer to use, and possibly have photos? Does the 2" Spacer from Rough Country level it out perfectly in the front?

    http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-leveling-lift-kit-744.html

Any pics? I have a 2016 TRD OFF ROAD 4WD, Automatic.

What's the height difference between your rear and front?

Divide that number by 2. Get that spacer.

I want the same result and many have suggested the Bilstein 5100s adjustable heights for the front at .85".

Took me 5 years of taking it to a shop to realize how easy it is to do yourself. If someone can align it, just do it yourself.

Seriously check out the Bilstein 5100s you can the level the rake and apparently get a much better ride than with spacers and possibly factory. Install would cost close to the same so only difference is parts.. New 2016 should be out soon, likely $200 for front set...

Am I the only one who feels a truck should have rake? Never understood the point of leveling a truck, as soon as you put any amount of weight in it your cruising with silly looking bro lean.

    I don't get it...

+1. Even lifted I keep an inch of rake. Levels out with a load or trailer so you're not pointing the nose to the sky

Yeah I think taco came stock with the front already high. It will look odd when you approach it from the side with the nose up

Definition of the term from Wikipedia

Rake is the angle between the vehicle and the horizontal axis of the ground. If the back is higher than the front, you have positive rake. If the front is higher than the back, you have negative rake. In early hot rod and custom cars, positive rake was created by varying tire size, and/or by suspension modification. In today's body design, positive rake is integral with some vehicles' styling, e.g. Mercedes E350 sedan.

There are many engineering reasons for rake, which vary slightly between vehicle styles and purposes.

Leveling is for those who don't understand the reason rake is engineered into vehicles. (it's not just a truck thing)

Or they choose to ignore that reason for the purpose of looks.

Leveling/lifting via spring preload or hockey pucks is just doubling down on the lack of understanding.

If one was to make their truck into a pavement performance vehicle, lowering would be the plan. Even then, rake would not be determined by the eye of the beholder, but rather by proper corner weighting.

I guess it depends on use.. Yes I think most understand the reason of rake to counter bead load and nose up during this situation. Believe me some people will never tow anything or put anything in their bed.. They just don't care. Yrs ago when I worked in auto customization business we saw this all the time.

I don't usually put anything/much in the bed and would prefer level, or close to it. Soo......any spacers going to accomplish this?

Did you even read anything posted here?

The better question is, did you read the post here? It clearly states that i don't want to replace shocks, which is the suggestion everyone is giving. I also didn't ask anyone's opinion on rake vs no rake. Don't be a dick....

Second post in the thread, bro. Apparently you missed it.

If you don't have a clue, read from those who do.

    Good luck! :jerkoff:
